![]() Well, I decided I should start taking art commissions. First off, everything I draw will be TRADITIONAL ART, aka drawn by hand and then scanned. I will ask you if you want the non-watermark high resolution commissioned artwork when it's completed; I will send it to you if you want it. Everything will be signed by me. I will mostly draw on an A4 sized paper. I will show you WIPs if requested, except on 'quick sketch' and/or 'semi-quality sketch' commissions. All finished commission artworks will be uploaded to my 'Commission' gallery folder: [link] I will always try my best to produce artwork both parts are satisfied with. Payment ● I ONLY accept payment through Paypal for international customers. For Finnish customers I will accept bank money transfers. • Prices will be listed in Euro. • I won't do point commissions, sorry. Payment should preferably be made up front after I have accepted your request but before I start working on it. I can also accept half of the payment after I've accepted your commission request and the other half before I start inking/coloring but after I've shown you the sketch and you're pleased with it. The latter isn't valid for Quick sketches or Semi-quality sketch commission options. Exceptions can possibly be arranged if you're unsure, just contact me by note and we can work something out! I will draw: ● Manga/anime style humans* • Manga/anime style humans with non-human traits (animal ears, tails, horns, pointy ears, wings etc) • Original manga/anime characters (picture reference/detailed description is a must) ● Animal-ish characters such as Pokémon, My Little Pony etc. • Chibi style characters (both manga/anime as well as "cute animal") * = I highly prefer drawing males and might turn down requests of drawing very girly female characters. I'm not confident in my skills of drawing frilly princess dresses and stuff like that but I might draw more tomboy-ish females, if that makes sense. Oh, and by the way, my specialty is drawing characters dressed in traditional Japanese clothing (kimono), but I'm okay drawing other kind of clothes too. I will NOT draw: ● Mecha and other robot-ish stuff ● Excessive gore, horror, zombies etc* • Excessive nudity** • No porn/sex whatsoever*** • Pretty much any fetishes are a no-no * = I'm fine drawing some bloody works though, ask me if unsure. ** = I'm fine drawing some bare skin, as long as it's keeping a good taste. Certain areas *ahem* needs to be covered. *** = "soft"/"friendship level" pairings (incl. yaoi/yuri) is alright. Please keep in mind I will keep the rights to turn down any commission requests I do not feel comfortable or refuse to draw for any reason. If you have questions or are unsure if I will draw something you have on your mind, don't hesitate to ask me, preferably by note. Now for the different price guideline lists: Anime/manga/original characters price list. Important: It has to be a character with a recognizably human-based body; animal/supernatural traits are accepted like horns, paws or wings for example. ~~~ Quick sketches (no or simple BG) •Each additional character is 25% of artwork price• head: 3 €, bust: 5 €, half-body: 7 €, full-body: 9 € "Semi-quality sketches" + black & white pencil shadows/"coloring" (no or simple BG) •Each additional character is 25% of artwork price• head: 5 €, bust 7 €, half-body: 9 €, full-body: 12 € Inked lineart ("fill in" coloring & basic shadows*, no or simple BG) •Each additional character is 25% of artwork price• head: 6 €, bust 8 €, half-body: 10 €, full-body: 13 € Inked lineart + black & white pencil shadows/coloring (no or simple BG) •Each additional character is 35% of artwork price• head: 8+ €, bust: 11+ €, half-body: 14+ €, full-body: 17+ € Inked lineart + colored with wooden pencils (no or simple BG) •Each additional character is 50% of artwork price• head: 14+ €, bust: 17+ €, half-body 21+ €, full-body: 25+ € Inked lineart + colored with wooden pencils + BG •Each additional character is 50% of artwork price• bust: 20+ €, half-body: 25+ €, full-body: 30+ € * = "fill in" coloring means that if some parts of the artwork are supposed to be of darker colors (clothes, hair, weapon etc) then I will fill those in with inked lines to make them distinguishable from what's supposed to be of lighter colors. Chibi style anime/manga characters price list. -only full-body available- ~~~ Quick sketches: 2 •Each additional character is 25% of artwork price• "Semi-quality sketches" + black & white pencil shadows/"coloring" (no or simple BG): 4 •Each additional character is 25% of artwork price• Inked lineart (no shadows/coloring): 6 •Each additional character is 25% of artwork price• Inked lineart (colored with wooden pencils, no or simple BG): 8 •Each additional character is 50% of artwork price• Inked lineart (colored with wooden pencils + BG): 11 •Each additional character is 50% of artwork price• Animal/Pokémon/My Little Pony etc characters price list. ~~~ Quick sketches (no or simple BG) •Each additional character is 25% of artwork price• head: 2 , bust: 3 , half-body: 4 , full-body: 5 "Semi-quality sketches" + black & white pencil shadows/"coloring" (no or simple BG) •Each additional character is 25% of artwork price• head: 3 , bust 4 , half-body: 6 , full-body: 7 Inked lineart ("fill in" coloring & basic shadows, no or simple BG)) •Each additional character is 25% of artwork price• head: 4 , bust 5 , half-body: 8 , full-body: 9 Inked lineart + black & white pencil shadows/"coloring" (no or simple BG) •Each additional character is 35% of artwork price• head: 5 , bust: 6 , half-body: 9 , full-body: 10 Inked lineart + colored with wooden pencils (no or simple BG) •Each additional character is 50% of artwork price• head: 6+ , bust: 7+ , half-body 11+ , full-body: 12+ Inked lineart + colored with wooden pencils + BG •Each additional character is 50% of artwork price• bust: 9+ , half-body: 13+ , full-body: 15+ € ^ Some of the options for "Animal/Pokémon/My Little Pony" characters won't be available for every commission, depending on what is commissioned. The limits affect certain Pokémons mostly, like it's not possible to draw a head or a bust picture of a Magnemite [link] because.. well.. it's basically just a round ball with an eye and two magnets at each side.. Chibi/Simple style "cute animal" characters price list. -only full-body available- ~~~ Sketch: 2 •Each additional character is 25% of artwork price• Inked lineart (no shadows/coloring): 3 •Each additional character is 25% of artwork price• Inked lineart (colored with wooden pencils, no or simple BG): 5 •Each additional character is 35% of artwork price• IMPORTANT. I will charge more for time-consuming works, hence the + sign after some of the prices in the different price lists, which means that the listed price is the default/basic price for a finished artwork. The price will be higher for more complex/detailed works. Here's a few artwork examples I'm sorry most are currently Bleach related, of course I'm fine drawing from other fandoms too as well as original characters! I currently lack examples of all the listed commission options. I will put up more examples later. First up is an example list valid for anime/manga/original characters: Quick sketches (no or simple BG) ![]() "Semi-quality sketches" + black & white pencil shadows/"coloring" (no or simple BG) ![]() Inked lineart + black & white pencil shadows/"coloring" (no or simple BG) ![]() Inked lineart + colored with wooden pencils (no or simple BG) ![]() Chibi style anime/manga character examples: Inked lineart + colored (no/simple BG): ![]() Animal/Pokémon/My Little Pony etc character examples: Inked lineart + colored with wooden pencils (no or simple BG) ![]() Chibi/Simple style "cute animal" character examples: Inked lineart + no shadows/coloring: ![]() Questions and Answers Q: How long will it take for you to finish a commission? A: The time it takes for me to start working on and complete a commission depends. As we all know real life can get very busy at times. I will try to get the artwork finished within a few months, depending on its complexity, how busy my life is at the moment and what you requested. Sketches, chibis, and head/bust art will obviously be finished quicker than colored full-body artwork with a background. I will try to do the commissions in the order they were originally placed, but I might do quicker commissions (aka sketches, head/bust art, chibis..) between/before finishing more complex ones. I will inform you if there's any delays. Q: Okay, I got the commission artwork. What am I allowed to do with it? A: You can use it freely for your own personal use; print it out and frame it on your wall or something, I don't care too much what you do with it as long as you respect these few important points: Please do not... • Do not claim that you have drawn it yourself because you have not. • Do not use the commissioned artwork for your own personal gain (read: make profit out of it) or for commercial purposes. Do not sell it further. • Do not modify it in any way without my permission. • Do not re-upload the commissioned artwork on your dA account without asking me first. If I say it is okay please link back to my deviantArt account. • Do not spread the commissioned artwork outside my dA (on a blog, personal site, forum etc) without my permission; dA group submissions excluded. If permission is granted please link back to my deviantArt account and upload a smaller version of the image, not the high resolution. • The high resolution version of the commissioned artwork is only for your personal use. It is just for you ~ Q: I think your prices are too steep. I can buy art for 5$ elsewhere, why don't you lower your prices? A: There's many reasons my prices are as they are. Even though I might not be a professional artist (yet) I still value my own art and the time and effort I put into making it. Nowadays a lot of people gravely under-price their art and it hurts all other artists (especially those who sell their art for a living) who charge more for their time, creativity and skills because they will need to compete against ridiculously cheap prices. Not cool bro. If you don't value my time & effort, look somewhere else; I won't work for you if I will only get paid for the finished artwork an amount of money which equals what a cup of coffee and a cinnamon bun would cost. Just, no. My time is worth more than that, thank you. Any questions? Don't be afraid to ask, I don't bite! Want to commission something that's not on the price list? Send a note! If you're interested in commissioning me please send me a note stating which kind of commission you're interested in. Be clear with what you want: if you want a specific pose etc, tell me. A reference of the character you want me to draw is a must! I do want a front, a back and a side reference picture for maximal accuracy of what I'm supposed to draw. If you want me to draw a specific pose I also highly recommend linking me an example along with your commission order. Please do tell me upon commissioning how you want the payment arranged, up front or half before starting and half after sketch. Thank you for showed interest ~ |
